This textbook is considered the latest, the greatest, state-of-the-art, and is used by Harvard. It is worth every minute you spend reading it. However, some of the later chapters can be confusing regarding the use of various cost models when describing aircraft and coffee makers within the same chapter as examples. The chapter on lean manufacturing is oversimplified. This book should be supplemented by a lean-manager program if proper understanding of lean is warranted. The reading level is advanced, and if one finds the text difficult to read then that one should take a course in English grammar, first.

DOES NOT COME WITH MY ACCOUNTING LAB ACCESS. Save yourself OVER $100 and DO NOT purchase this from Amazon! I am now out $100 because I purchased this text book rather than from the pearson website. PLEASE save yourself money, textbooks are expensive.
